Lent
Today is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. Most people associate Lent with the denying themselves something for 40 days that will supposedly cause suffering. Jesus spent 40 days fasting in a desert… So in hopes of somewhat sharing this pain of 40 days of fasting Jesus went through, I fast myself of worldly things that I believe to be “hard” to live without.
